Jon A. Nordlund & Strövtåget is a Swedish country project rooted in storytelling, tradition, and a deep love for classic Scandinavian country music. While modern country continues to dominate globally, Jon A. Nordlund looks back to the legacy of Swedish pioneers such as Alf Robertson and Mats Rådberg, creating music that carries a distinctly Swedish identity.

Singing in Swedish and drawing inspiration from the landscapes and everyday life of Värmland, the project blends heartfelt narratives with timeless country arrangements. The songs move between big emotions and small moments, always grounded in authenticity and a strong sense of place.

As the name suggests, Strövtåget is far from a solo effort. The project brings together experienced musicians and songwriters with deep roots in country music, including Jon’s son Kevin Nordlund, who plays an important role both as a musician and vocalist. With Jon A. Nordlund at the helm, Strövtåget invites listeners on a musical journey through stories, memories, and melodies shaped by the spirit of Swedish country tradition.
