ANDERS SCHAGER
"I had the privilege of growing up in the 60s and 70s. Bands such as the Stones, Beatles, Kinks, Hollies and The Who were on everyone's turntables. There were about ten pop bands in Halmstad alone who competed for local popularity at various pop galas around the city, and dreamed of becoming as big as their idols and role models. All life seemed to revolve around the new music.
I played in my first band when I was ten years old, and I remember my guitar being bigger than me at the time. At home, the guitar has always been in front of me and I've been very good at playing half songs, but never really took the time to learn the songs properly, which could perhaps be quite frustrating for those who sometimes listened. Then suddenly came the computers and various fun recording programs. Now you could get yourself an advanced studio at home, and do everything yourself. On that way it is!"
